Night Magic
Do you ever wonder what happens after dusk?
What happens at night when the moon rises high?
Magical things make their appearance
From the deep depths of the earth to high in the sky.

Walk in a forest, see magical lights
Venture towards them and you may see
The glittery flash of a shimmering wing
And hear voices singing in harmony

Tread carefully if leaving the woods
You may hear the haunting sound of a lone beast
There are more on the horizon
Skip lightly, away towards the East

There you will happen upon the open sea
Ignore the beauties' haunting song
Many a-sailor has heard the melody
Those that follow it now know they were wrong

Now you know what the night has to offer
Most of it chilling, amazing and rare
All of it made with magic's hand
I only warn trespassers beware.
