OOAK Sculptures

Kristin has also taken up sculpting, she is self teaching herself how to sculpt and hasn't taken any classes. These are Kristins first two polymer clay sculptures. Please keep in mind that she is just learning how to sculpt and with doing so these sculptures are not perfect but that doesn't take away from their beauty. "Shy" Sculpture

This is Kristin's first attempt at sculpting. Sculpture is based on her 2008 artwork entitled "Shy". This sculpt is made from polymer clay. Her hair, base and wings are painted in Acrylic paint. Side of base if dated and signed by Kristin. The entire fairy is covered in a matte varnish to protect her. And lastly the bottom of the base is covered in felt and 4 non-skid slidders to prevent her from flying off and exploring. Sculpt took about five days to complete. She is looking for a new, loving home to call her own.

"Forest Faery" Sculpture

This is Kristin's second sculpture and her first attempt at an "art doll" type sculpture. She is made out of polymer clay, her hair is made from synthetic hair and her wings are made out of cellophane and accented with glitter and rhinestones. Lastly her clothes are made out of fake leaves, ribbon and accented with rhinstones. This wee fae took alittle over a week to create and is looking for a new home to call her own.
