Does this one even need an explaination? I mean it's Nessie...The Loch Ness Monster, in Scotland. The most iconic cryptid of them all next to bigfoot. No explanation needed right? RIGHT? Everyone knows Nessie so here is my version of the iconic lake monster herself. I added in Urquhart castle under the water so Nessie buffs would get the picture right off the bat and for overall added interest in the piece.
What do you think Nessie is? Do you think she exists? It's said she could be anything from a Plesiosaur to a large sturgeon even possibly seals or ducks, floating logs...to a more magical theory of a Kelpie, a type of shape shifting fairy that lives in water. Do you have any theories? My personal theory is that Nessie could be the spirit of a Plesiosaur. If human ghosts happen and so can animals like cats and dogs (if you believe in ghosts, which I very clearly do) To me the ghost of a plesiosaur is a very plausible theory and would explain why population isn't increasing and they aren't spotted more often and sightings are quick. To me, if it was indeed a real living plesiosaur I would think by now there would be a healthy population happening, a small, very small population but increasing numbers none the less. This would also explain, to me, remember this is my working theory, why such a large animal could evade the countless sonar treks Nessie hunters have done. So, yeah, my theory is that Nessie could be a ghost of a plesiosaur.
