Hello again faerie fans, How have you all been? I 've been meaning to write a new blog for awhile now but kept putting it off. Though, if you follow my ramblings on facebook or twitter you may know this stuff already, but anyway, In the words of whitesnake....here I go again!!!

Did I just do an 80's hair metal reference you ask? Heck yeah I did *cheeky grin*

Alright so I have HUGE news. About 2 weeks ago I was contacted by A woman, Briana Blair, through my zazzle store. She wants to run an interview on me for her blog. I agreed and she sent me the questions. I'm so excited as this was my first EVER interview. The interview isn't posted yet but I will be sure to let you all know when it is.

In other news I am pleased to say that the fabulous, Jean Carlos, has added me to The Fae Site. FAE or The Fantasy Artist's Etherium. This is a gallery dedicated to fantasy artists. Let's see...As a side project I have been getting into photography. I love to take photos and thought this would make a cute little side project. I take photos everywhere I go, so why not share them with people? I would rather call these artsy photos, though, as I'm an artist, not a photographer. You can see these photos in my gallery and I also have them listed for sale as 5x7 and 8x10in prints, if anyone falls in love with any of them.

Other new things on my site...I have added new photos to my "Fan Photos" gallery and gave the page a new look as well. If you own any of my work, I ask you to please take photos of them in your home or with it or what not and email them to me. I love seeing the photos. Also, a selection of ORIGINAL Aceos and Other art ORIGINAL are on SALE as well. A Halloween sale I suppose we can call it? See one you like? You better get it while you can because they won't last long. I also have new Licensed Merchandise available from Kat's Magickal Patches. This new product happens to be Ceramic coasters and they are gorgeous! There is also new mugs available from Indigo Art Services which are equally gorgeous. It's that time again...the Holiday season is approaching. Please remember about us self representing artists. When you buy our work you are helping us buy food, art supplies and other life necessities. So please don't forget about us. An original piece of artwork would make a beautiful and unique gift item for a loved one or even yourself. Prints and merchandise would make an equally lovely and unique gift item as well. I think thats pretty much it for news so now for some fun stuff...When my facebook fanpage hits 1000 fans we're going to hold a nice big giveaway. Im trying to decide on the prizes but I promise it WILL be awesome. We are currently at 870 fans so we're only 130 fans away. Hi there folk. So im totally neglecting my blog again. Actually I was going to post one last week but after like an hour of typing it, I moved away from the age without saving it as a draft, to go grab a link and yeah, I lost the whole blog SO here I am writing it again and hoping this time I can do this correctly and remember what the heck I wrote before haha

Anyway...Remember in my last blog I had announced that I am now Licensed for Rubber Stamps through Queen Kat's and that I was scheduled for an August release? Well I got released early and my stamps are now for sale. Also my new mousepads from Indigo Art Services are posted and ready for sale as well. These mousepads are on sale for only $9 so make sure you check out my licensing page for those products. I also have good news! I've signed 4 new contracts with Kat's Magical Patches and Queen Kat's. Sorry I can't tell you what the new products are yet but you will LOVE them. I'll announce them as soon as I'm allowed to.

Let's see here. Zazzle. I have lots of new products available there with all of my latest and of course my older images. I have everything from iphone cases to t-shirts, bags, mugs....lot's of things so check it out. Some new things have been added to my website. First, all the gallery pages got a new look. I wasn't diggin the slideshows anymore haha. I have also ADDED two new galleries. This would be a "Work In Progess" Gallery. This is so you guys can see sketches of what is on the drawing board. On this page there is also a slideshow so you can see the progression of said artworks as I am working on them. I have also added a "Fan Photos" gallery. So if you own any original artwork of mine, any prints or merchandise of mine please take a photo with it or of it being enjoyed in your home and email those photos to me so you can be featured in the gallery. By the way I also have an account over on Faebae. This is like ebay but for fantasy art and creations. Right now I have 3 ORIGINAL aceos for sale over there. They are looking for a new, loving home. In the meantime I have been working on new artwork. The one on the drawing board now is called "Love Lies Bleeding". This was the winning pose for the contest I held a few months ago. This particular pose won because not only did she take a beautiful photo and dress up for it, but she also had a full concept to go along with it. I was totally sold on it and could NOT resist. The artwork is in the homestretch now and I hope to have her finished tonight. So stay tuned in a day or two to see that one. If you follow me on twitter, iv'e posted a wip of it over there.

Ok this next part will seem alittle off topic but I swear it really isn't. On July 22nd I attended Mayhem Fest 2011. This concert was an all day show featuring a bunch of metal and hard rock bands. Distured, Godsmack, Trivium, Megadeath, Kingdom Of Sorrow ect. As most of you should know or at least you will now. I am a HUGE hard rock/metal fan. Anyway Godsmack is one of my all time favs and since I had front row tickets I figured "Hey why not bring prints of "Mountain Dragon" to try and give them" So I did just that. I met Shannon, the Drummer, and Robbie, the bassist, during the day and gave them their prints. They loved them. Later on when Godsmack went on stage I had Sully's and Tony's. I kept holding them up for Sully to see and FINALLY during the last song he came to my side of the stage again and spotted them. He walked over to me and bent down with a HUGE smile on his face and took them from me and then bent down again to shake my hand. Everyone who was around me was so excited they kept highfiving me haha. Anyway one night a few weeks ago I came to thinking "Hey I wonder if anyone caught that on camera" So I went on a youtube mission. Wouldn't you guess what I found? Someone actually DID catch that moment on camera. About a min in you can see him come over to me and everything....Below you will see the photo taken by the person I was with and also the video from the random person on youtube. Just thought I would tell you all that experience hehe.

Ps. Am I like the queen of long blogs? HA sorry guys.

Hello Faerie peeps.
Iv'e totally been neglecting my blog. So let's dig around and see if I can remember everything Im suppose to talk about....Ok so first off there are lots of new things here on my website. I now have a wholesale page (wholesale is for retailers and store owners only) and I also added a storefinder page so you all know what retail stores carry my artwork. I have also added a mercahndise page where there is bookmarks, keychains and magnets for sale. There is also a licensed merchandise page there as well so you guys can see my licensed merch. Mugs from Indigo Art Services are up for sale and also I now have cameo pendants up for sale through them as well. Pendants will be added to the licesed merch page very soon. So make sure you check that out.
Iv'e been adding more original artwork as well. I now have lots of original sketches up for sale. Sketches (depending on detail ect) are more inexpensive than the paintings so if you are tight on cash and still want an original artwork check out those sketches.  For a reminder don't forget I am open for commissions. SO if you want an original PERSONALIZED artwork, feel free to email me with any questions about commissions.
I am also pleased to announce that I have been licensed with Queen Kat Designs for rubber stamps. I have been scheduled for an August release. So stay tuned for that announcement.
Speaking of announcements. Thankyou to all of you who sent in photos for my contest. The winner of the contest has been contacted and will be making her way into one of my artworks in the near future.
Mystic Fae's 1 yr anniversary is coming up next week and my fanpage is up to 740 fans and my followers on twitter is 177. I am hoping we can get to 800 and 200 by the end of this month. Let's try yo make it happen ;) I must say ahead of time though...Thankyou all so much, from the bottom of my heart, for helping support me. I have the greatest fans. I could not have gotten this far in only 1yrs time without you guys.
OH I almost forgot, some of you may already know this but, im in the process of working on a 2012 calendar. This will be available through zazzle for only around $20.00 I am hoping to release it within the first week or 2 of August.
So other than that its been rather quiet around here. I will be going on vacation on the 22nd of this month till the 28th-29th so any orders placed in that time slot will be shipped out the first week of July. Sorry for the inconvience. Same goes for emails. I won't be able to respond to any emails (unless I happen to have access to a computer which is unlikely) until i get back on the 29th.
Until then please consider adopting some prints and originals. They are lonely and want a new home.

As Mystic Fae Fantasy Art's 1 year anniversary is approaching, I've decided that It's time for Mystic Fae's first annual CONTEST....We artist's almost always use pose photo reference's while drawing our artwork. It means we have a photo on hand of the general pose we want for the artwork. This allows us to better see what the pose we want looks like and allows us to get it's proportions correct, rather than trying to do it from memory. I mean we are artists NOT magicians lol anyway....For this contest i figured why not allow my fans to get into one of my paintings!! So what i want you guys to do is provide pose reference's. I want you guys to take pictures in any kind of pose you see fit. You can dress up if you like as well. Involve your friends, your husband/wife, boyfriend/girlfirend or children. After you take the photo's, pick your 3 favorites (Maximum limit is 5) and email them to me at mysticfaeart@aol.com Here comes the more contest part of it. After the deadline is up, I will review all the entries and pick the winner. The winner will be the pose that i've decided to work on for my next artwork. After the artwork is finished the winner will recieve a FREE signed 8x10 print. The deadline is the end of this month, May 31st.
SO go on....model like the wind LOL

A few new things have been going on around here...First off  i am pleased to announce that i am now licensed with Kat's Magical Patches for Fabric Blocks. Yes that's right my art is now available on fabric squares for countless sewing and craft projects. I am also licensed with them for iron on transfers for both light and dark fabric.
Also i am pleased to announce that i am Charmed in New England's featured artist for the month of April. Go check out their Bohemian marketplace. They have a good number of my prints for sale. In both 5x7s and 8x10's
I have also just recently approved mug designs from Indigo Art Services. So things should be up soon over there. But i will keep you posted on that.

In art news i have started line work for some new ACEO's. Unfortunetly their are 5 lonely ACEO's (along with "The Locket" in the Enchanted Visions originals gallery) for sale here on my site, that are still looking for new homes. Please take a few minuets to go look at them. I have also started on linework for last months Enchanted Visions theme "Along Came a Spider". I am hoping to catch up on a few EV themes.

Hello everybody and welcome to my official website. I'm so excited that it's finally here. Let me first start by introducing myself. My name is Kristin Palmer and I am a fantasy and faery artist, but im sure most of you already know this so moving on...If you take a look around my site you will see various things. A licensing page where you can see companies I am licensed with. Links where you can find me on the web, like facebook and twitter. And of course I have prints and originals up for sale to those of you who are interested. And of course all that normal website stuff. Coming soon i will have original sketches up for sale along with with crafty things i make. Sketches will come sooner than the crafty things.
